Fulgenzi`s Pizza & Pasta in Springfield

I have always love this place but haven ate here in years. I was craving some food from here tonight and decided to order through grub hub. I ordered a chilli mac with a roast beef sandwich with a side of meatballs and bread sticks. The chili mac was dry pasta with even dryer meat. The meatballs were basically ground beef. And the roast beef was actually the best thing I ordered. I was sad to see how disgusting the chilli mac looked. But I still decided to take a bite and wasn't surprised when I realized how dry and tasteless it was. I am more than disappointed I waited over an hour and paid 40 bucks for this mess of a meal

Horrible Service. Sandwich had some weird green rubber thing in it. Talked to a lady named Kathy and she was very rude about the whole thing. They need to fire that Kathy woman. I will never go back until they do.

Did not dislike, did not realize when we went that it was not table service style..food served on paper plares styrofoam cups, paper wrappers..pizza was ok, not great, hamburgers looked good, pasta was mediocre

Has a nice home town feel to it. Staff was nice. Service is quick. The pizzas and hamburgers are really good. The spaghetti and meatballs was just ok. Lots of seating. Lots of parking. Nice location.

Our first visit...atmosphere and staff were great. Supreme pizza was fabulous. Route 66 theme throughout. Highly recommend.😊

Normally this place has really great pizza and pretty good service. But the last time we were there the cheesy bread had mold on it. It was intentional to cook it that way, there was no way you could have missed this. I won't be back.

Ordered large pizza and small cheese pizza, cheese pizza was not delivered. Called store back to have cheese pizza delivered. They had a driver involved In a finder bender and they were never suppose to deliver to our hotel as per manager, i asked for the pizza to be delivered and that i would appreciate it as it was the kids pizza, managers response was if your kids are hungry there is a McDonalds and godfathers pizza across the road. I responded "my charges on my debit card will reflect your review. So here is the review.

Really great, family owned restaurant just a half block from 66! This place is great and not only has plenty of food offerings but it's ran by a very passionate family from Springfield! Check it out!

It was amazing

Far and away, the BEST pizza our family has ever had! Perfectly thin and crispy with the right amount of sauce (not smothered in it), plenty of toppings, and piping hot! They also have great hamburgers, cheese curds, chili dogs, and fries! We LOVE Fulgenzi's!

Great burgers and chocolate shakes! Fun atmosphere and truly nice people. If you like Route 66 memorabilia, you gotta stop in.

Must try out, thin crust pizza and pasta was awsome.

First off our meal was served to us on a paper plate and a 1964 cafe tray..secon our "pasta" was undercooked and way over priced..the pasta itself was very chewy .almost as if it wer microwaved..the sauce was very thin,to the point the ingredients wer breaking apart..third the breadsticks wer just that although beeing the best part...we will never return

If you're from the north end of springfield then this is home to you. This place sells all types of food. People here are friendly. Definitely recommend stopping by for dinner service.

Great home style Italian in a lively, convivial atmosphere. Nothing fancy here, just good food served fast and with a smile. A great place for a weeknight dinner or a gathering of friends.

I love this place!!! I have not ate here in about a year or so and it is still just as good as I remember. Have to make it a point to eat here more often...

In visiting the city recently we decided to reminisce at Fulgenzi's. The food was horrible. In our first order the pizza was luke warm, looked like a child's finger painting and tasted like soap. Thinking it was just her, my daughter ordered alfredo that looked like leftovers not properly covered in the fridge. In addition to being partially cooked the noodles were spongy, and we won't discuss the minimal sauce. The young lady who waited on us apologized, for our first order while the manager/owner watched us throw away all our food from his perch in the middle of the restaurant. The only thing that remains the same is the arrogance of the owner and the older woman who doesn't believe in hospitality, as she tossed the order on the table. Word to the wise: If you are not in the inner circle Fulgenzinites go to McDonalds, you'll get better service and food.

It was ok but the gaming machines are very loud so it makes you kind of crazy when you want to relax and eat

Met a large group of friends tonight. Ya have to order at the counter and they bring the food out to your tables. Drinks are self serve coke products. Food delivered to us quite fast. Very good food, I'll have to return here. A warning to Breaded pork tenderloin lovers...this is not homemade here.

I ordered from here all the time! The food is excellent and the delivery is very fast. The staff is very nice and helpful most courteous restaurant I go to in Springfield.

My family used to come over here all the time, or order out, after a long day of training and racing horses. Amazing burgers. Plenty of seating. Very friendly and professional staff. This is a staple for anyone that stops through for the state fair, or lives in the area. I get nostalgic just thinking about the place!

Worst food ever. Ordered an Italian sausage it wasn't even a link sausage, who makes a Italian sausage sandwich with ground sausage as a patty? Then doesn't even list it as a patty. Also had a meatball poor boy that the meatballs were about as dry as shoe leather.

Just got a carry-out order to take home. Everything was great. I think they have the best chocolate milkshake in town, even better than Dairy Queen or Steak n Shake! I got the walleye and fries and both were good. I prefer catfish, but they didn't have it. My husband got the meatball poorboy, onion rings, and chili. All were excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the prices are a little high. Will definitely go back. And the girl who took the order was very friendly and actually got everything right. That's a plus.

I'm so glad I came here! I'm a very fussy, discerning food person and I'm telling you- this place is IT for burgers! Get the bacon cheeseburger, because it's amazing! We WILL be back for pizza and other stuff because this is food done RIGHT! ♡

Service was terrible. We called first to see if they were open on New years eve, was hung up on once then called again to get a "open til 2." We got there at 1p, and were rushed in our ordering by a disgruntled old woman who clearly hated her life and being at work. Even after our numerous we need a few minutes before ordering. My friend who's birthday it was, ordered and wanted a drink. She asked what they had to drink. The lady working didnt answer but I told her from reading the menu Pepsi products. She stated she wanted a diet Pepsi and the old lady at the register rudely told us she did not care what we wanted to drink and we can get it ourself, she needed to know the size. We finished our order, she took our money and handed back change, no receipt, no thank you.Food was okay, nothing special. Served on paper plates and styrofoam. We both had never been and went be back.No dramatizations here, clearly stated as happened in case anyone was wondering.

Good old fashion atmosphere, food,and. Service. Great place. World's famous burger is GREAT!!!
